Our client is seeking a dedicated, motivated Logistics Administration Officer to support the day to operations of a busy office. This is a temp to perm role which provides direct assistance to the sales, operations and logistics teams with tracking client orders and keeping clients updated with the status of their order. The ideal candidate will possess:

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Firm understanding of logistics
  • Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
  • Ensure rapid response to delivery/orders status enquiries, building rapport with clients.
  • Facilitating in the inward and outward of goods
  • Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s
  • Forecast delivery targets and ensure they are met by the team.
  • Help all team members represent the company in the best light.
  • Help other staff members by training and mentoring to help develop best practice within our company.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities.
  • Understand the company’s goal and purpose so that they will continue to enhance the company’s performance.
  • All systems, protocols and procedures to be strictly adhered to.

Required Skills/Qualification

  • Minimum 2 years experience in logistics administration

  • A general knowledge of and interest in sales at a commercial level
  • Understanding of the office furniture industry preferred but not essential

Sales Administrator

Reporting to the Sales Manager and based in our Acacia Ridge office, you will be responsible for the developing and maintaining customer relationships, following up and converting leads whilst working closely with Sales, Operations and Engineering teams..

You will need to effectively apply your skill set and demonstrate a firm understanding of data entry techniques, calendar management and general clerical duties. Prior experience in a sales administration is preferred but not essential.

Primary Roles and Responsibility

  • Addressing new business leads, converting to sales or allocating to relevant parties accordingly
  • Grow existing account base, whilst identifying new business opportunities
  • Providing day to day administrative support to sales manager including ad hoc reporting
  • Building and maintaining strong internal and external supplier relationships

To be successful you will need to demonstrate:

  • Directly manage all shift activities including, not limited to safety, cost, efficiency & quality
