Financial Accountant – 3 month placement

  • $50.00 per hour inclusive of casual loading

We are currently seeking a highly experiences Management Accountant to manage and over see the monthly finances of a large Transport Company in Port Botany. The ideal candidate will be a self starter and demonstrate an ability to support all aspects of reporting, month end, reconciliations, cash flow, balance sheets and budgeting for the accounts of the business.

The role with consist of the following duties

  • Month end journals as required and the review and analysis of monthly results of the business
  • Balance sheet reconciliation management
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Manage vehicle registrations across the fleet
  • Assist Financial Controller in end of month reporting including the development of reports on key areas within the division (Maintenance, fuel, labour, capital, other).
  • Provide assistance to the Financial Controller in managing the day to day financial performance of the business
  • Revenue reporting as required by the business
  • Commitment to the provision of a high level of customer focus to both internal and external customers.
  • Develop a key understanding of current operational and financial systems
  • Other duties as described by the Manager

Skills and Qualifications

  • CPA Qualified or working towards

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Suite experience
  • Strong attention to details and problem solving
  • Technically proficient in accounting principles and practices

High Reach Double Deep Forklift Operator

Time: 6am-6pm – 12 Hour Shift (3day roster, Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday)

Location: Ingleburn

Key Responsibilities

Core Operational Duties

  • Safely operate high reach forklifts, especially double-deep reach trucks to store and retrieve goods from tall racking systems.

  • Perform RF scanning for stock movements and order fulfilment as required.

  • Move pallets from production to storage and from storage to dispatch areas.

  • Load and unload goods from trucks/trailers and staging areas.

  • Palletising tasks and preparing pallets for shipment.

Warehouse Support

  • Undertake general warehouse duties including housekeeping, stock rotation and safety checks.

  • Assist with inventory management, replenishment and cycle counts.

  • Coordinate with supervisors and other team members to meet daily targets

Required Skills & Experience

  • Valid LF forklift licence/certification (NSW high-risk work licence).

  • Proven experience operating high reach forklifts with double deep capability in a warehouse or distribution centre.

  • Confidence with RF scanning computers/manuals and basic warehouse systems.

  • Strong focus on safety procedures, knowing how to operate at heights and around other staff.

  • Ability to lift manual loads when required and work efficiently in a team – reliability and good communication are critical.

Desirable Attributes

  • Previous experience in FMCG or food production distribution settings.

  • Comfortable with warehouse productivity targets under time-pressured conditions.

Production Clerk – Quality Control and Data Entry

  • Pay rate: Level 3 Clerical – $37.13 per hour inclusive of casual loading

We are currently seeking a motivated Production clerk to support the day to day production needs of a raw materials business. The role is responsible for managing the administrative and data-driven aspects of the manufacturing process, with a specialised focus on inventory accuracy through back flushing (automatic consumption of materials upon production completion). You will serve as a vital link between the production floor, purchasing, and warehouse departments, ensuring that production records are accurate, materials are available, and finished goods are properly accounted for in the ERP

Responsibilities:

  • Firm understanding of CRM and/or data entry processes (Dynamics 365 highly valued)
  • Perform back flushing in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or ERP system to automatically issue raw materials to production orders based on finished goods output.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods by conducting regular inventory audits and reconciling, with requisitions.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors, procurement, and logistics to resolve material shortages, expedite orders, and ensure on-time delivery
  • Ensure adequate amounts of materials are used and available
  • Record and track daily production, including quantities produced, scrap, and defects.
  • Collaborate with the Production team to investigate discrepancies
  • Input system data with high accuracy regarding quantities, routings and adjustments
  • Analyse and prepare reports on production metrics, such as actual vs. estimated material usage

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment, ideally with experience in ERP systems
  • Quality Assurance or Control experience preferred but not essential
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and familiarity with MES or WMS software. (Dynamics 365 highly regarded)
  • Meticulous accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Effective verbal and written skills for coordinating with various departments.
  • Positive and collaborative attitude a must.

About the Role:

Core Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in pick and pack, order processing, or warehouse operations
  • Competent using WMS systems (cloud-based preferred) and handheld scanners

  • Ability to follow pick slips, batch orders, and SOPs with minimal supervision

About You:

  • Proven experience in a Quality Officer, Quality Coordinator or QA role within manufacturing

  • Experience with audits, certifications, and compliance reporting
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using quality KPIs and metrics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
