Branch Manager – Altona, Melbourne
Labourpower is seeking a motivated, energetic and customer-focused Branch Manager to join our Altona team in Melbourne.
Ware looking for an experienced recruitment professional to lead the branch, support our people and maintain, develop and grow the business.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience within blue-collar recruitment and a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with employees, clients and internal stakeholders. You will combine excellent customer service with strong administration, workforce management and business development capabilities.
This opportunity may also suit an ambitious Senior Account Manager who is ready to take the next step into branch management. Labourpower will provide the training, resources and leadership support needed to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations and ongoing development of the Altona branch
- Manage client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service
- Identify opportunities for account growth and new business development
- Recruit, interview, onboard and induct candidates
- Coordinate workforce requirements, rosters and employee placements
- Ensure all administration, compliance documentation and filing remain accurate and up to date
- Respond promptly to employee, payroll and workplace-related enquiries
- Conduct site visits, risk assessments, workplace observations and toolbox talks
About You

- Experience in blue-collar recruitment, account management or workforce management
- A proactive, energetic and solutions-focused approach
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate others
- Exceptional organisation and time-management skills
- A sound understanding of recruitment compliance and workplace health and safety
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
