Labourpower are currently recruiting for 10 x EXPERIENCED High Reach and LO Operators for a food distribution company in Banksmeadow.

This client supplies household food and beverage names to cafes, supermarket chains and restaurants all over Australia. They are importers of premium and prestige products – Well know, recognised brands. To keep up with demand and to be ready for their peak season they are looking to train quality personnel into their systems and processes.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE

  • 4am-12Noon
  • 7am-3pm
  • 4pm-12Midnight

Successful applicants will have the following skills

  • Current LF and/or LO Forklift licence
  • Experience with High reach Forklifts – preferably CROWN JOYSTICK
  • RF scanning and picking experience
  • Minimum 1 year warehouse experience
  • Inventory and cycle count experience
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Sound knowledge of WHS and proven track record with safety

Quality Assurance Officer

  • commencing asap

We currently have an opportunity for a dynamic and driven individual who is interested in manufacturing quality assurance and want the potential for long term employment.

Full training and support will be provided by the QA Manager with the key objective of the role being to monitor and review systems and processes and undertake bulk and finished product inspection with the intention of improving overall quality within the business.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Accurately record all test results on the test sheets following implemented procedures and
    Policies
  • Advise appropriate adjustments to bulk to achieve appropriate results as defined by the batch documentation
  • Perform bulk checks and assess conformance to product specifications. Ability to troubleshoot and investigate OOS and non-conformance results
  • Conduct in-process and finished product sampling for micro testing
  • Assist customer complaint investigations and resolution of observed issues
  • Generate and issue of Certificates of Analysis (CoA’s) for clients and products
  • Authorized personnel to release bulk, components, raw materials and finished goods from the system from QI status to unrestricted based off the approval to release process
  • Provide training to laboratory staff members when required
  • Communicate out -of-specification results to QA and production Managers. Conduct Out Of Specification (OOS) investigations
  • Assist with conducting internal audits to ensure correct implementation of company procedures and work instructions. Implementation of corrective and preventative actions where appropriate
  • Carry out raw material testing, according to specifications when required
  • Assist internal GMP and quality audits
  • Perform laboratory calibrations and assist in maintaining the calibration log and perform laboratory equipment operation when required.
  • To maintain the laboratory work area in a clean and tidy condition
  • Teamwork & commitment to support manufacturing and packaging operations to meet customer requirements.
  • Carry out any lawful duties as required by the Quality Manager
  • Co-operate with laboratory team members for efficient output
  • Strictly following WHSE requirements and safety procedures
  • Contribute to the achievements of the department and company’s quality objectives

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience in a Quality Control Analyst Role
  • Tertiary qualified in science or other similar discipline (preferred)

About the role:

As a container unloader you will be unloading boxes of various products from a well known company Australia wide and stacking those boxes onto pallets to get wrapped. The ideal applicant will have container unloading experience or similar and must be physically fit and be able to lift between 5kg – 25kgs repetitively. You must be able to commit to a flexible roster and be available 5 days a week including occasional overtime.
