Job Title: Machine Operator/Counterbalance role (Plastics Manufacturing)

Location: Laverton North, VIC
Employment Type: Casual
Pay Rate: $36-$41 per hour (depending on shift)

About Us:
We are a growing plastics manufacturing company. We are looking for reliable Machine Minders to support our production team and help keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load bags of plastic materials onto machines for processing and cleaning
• Assist with separating waste materials and recyclables
• Monitor machines during production to ensure smooth operation
• Identify and report any faults or issues to supervisors
• Perform basic adjustments and assist operators where required
• Check finished products for quality and remove any defects
• Keep work areas clean and organised
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
• Assist with material handling, including forklift use

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred)
• Valid LF (Forklift) licence (essential)
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team
• Basic mechanical understanding (advantageous)
• Willingness to work shifts, including afternoons and overtime if required

Training:

• Full onsite training provided and must be completed before working independently
• Training will commence on day shift

• Positions available:
  • 1 x Day Shift
  • 1 x Afternoon Shift
