The Company

My client is a Global Freight Forwarder with a standout brand and service across the world. As a leader in the Australasian logistics sector, they are an innovative service provider that embraces collaboration, learning, and development. Due to continuous growth & expansion they are looking to add an Export Operations Specialist to the team based in Brisbane. Reporting to the General Manager, you will work in a team with a strong focus on supporting key accounts, and process & compliance excellence. This role will progress to a Supervisor position.

The Role

Your main responsibilities will include:

• QLD Export Operations (FCL/LCL, AIR, with eventual cross-training in other departments), coordinating end-to-end solutions for Key Customers (including bookings, documentation, cartage, customs reporting, job invoicing).
• Liaising with Customers, Carriers, Service Providers, and Overseas Partners.
• Ensuring ongoing Customer satisfaction through effective and efficient responses to customer inquiries, issues, and concerns.
• Establishing and maintaining a strong rapport with customers and service providers.
• Monitoring key operational activities to ensure efficient completion of import duties.
• Identifying and implementing changes to support continual improvement, business growth and the development of best practice SOP.

Your Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in freight forwarding export operations
• Relationship-building skills and strong communication abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail, along with analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Prior experience using CargoWise (CW1) is highly regarded
