Draftsperson – Kitchens and Cabinets

They use the latest software for designs, to produce modern and high end, quality products. They take pride in offering their services for designing and building the ideal joinery for their customer’s home. Their expert designers work with the customers to design the perfect joinery.

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Draftsperson to join our team in Chipping Norton. This is a full-time casual position where you will be responsible for overseeing the production and delivery of custom kitchen cabinetry and wardrobe fit outs. Your strong technical skills with Autocad and attention to detail will be essential in this role.

$40-$45 per hour casual rate dependant on experience
Monday to Friday 8.00am-4.30pm
Ongoing role, potential to permanency
Immediate start

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed CAD drawings and specifications for custom kitchen cabinetry and wardrobe fit-outs
Liaise with out team to understand the design requirements and translate them into production-ready plans
Manage the order fulfilment process
Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely manufacture and delivery
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline order management processes
problem solve potential build issues within construction drawings or concept designs

The ideal candidate will possess:

Minimum 2 year’s experience as a Cabinet Draftsperson/Apprentice cabinet maker or similar role in the cabinetry/furniture industry
Proficient in using AUTOCAD software to produce detailed technical drawings and specifications 3D kitchen would be ideal
Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and industry standards
Highly organised with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask
Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in cabinet making or drafting
