We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join a Medical Device manufacturing business in Alexandria. Supporting the Warehouse Manager, this role is responsible to assist in leading the logistic team in all aspects of receiving, dispatch and day to day operations of the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

  • Review forecasts and historical usage for inventory ordering
  • Create purchase orders
  • Analyse levels to maintain optimal stock levels, no stock-outs
  • Liaise with global distribution centre to ensure orders are fulfilled on time.
  • Ensure orders are receipted and processed
  • Coordinate stock take/cycle count management
  • Replenish stock holdings for logistics and production
  • Liaise with the internal finance accounts team for invoice receipt
  • Credit returned stock processed and returned to the global distribution centre.
  • Support Logistic function (including Receiving, Packing and Distributing)

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain highly valued
  • 2-3+ year’s experience with inventory control, ordering (supply and demand)
  • Knowledge and operational experience in exposure to different supply chain areas
  • Experience in dealing and working with overseas factories and international freight providers
  • Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel

A well-established national transport and logistics company is seeking an experienced Forklift Mechanic to join their busy Kemps Creek site.

YOU DO NOT NEED EXPERIENCE AS A FORKLIFT MECHANIC SPECIFICALLY, AS LONG AS YOU ARE MECHANICALLY MINDED AND SWITCHED ON.

This is a hands-on, onsite role responsible for the repair, servicing and maintenance of all forklifts on site. You will play a key part in keeping the fleet reliable and minimising downtime in a fast-paced warehouse and logistics environment.

The Role

  • Perform preventative maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs on forklifts
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
  • Carry out routine inspections and complete service records
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues to keep equipment operational
  • Order parts and manage basic workshop stock as required
  • Work safely and follow all site WHS procedures
  • Report major issues and coordinate external repairs when needed
  • Support a clean, organised and efficient workshop environment

About You

  • Qualified Mechanic (Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, Plant or equivalent)
  • Minimum 6 months experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
  • Good communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Willingness to follow site safety rules and complete required inductions

Hours & Pay

  • Starts as Casual for a 3-month period

About the Role

  • Assisting with the manufacture and production of precast concrete products
  • Preparing moulds and formwork for concrete pours
  • Stripping moulds and demoulding finished concrete products

Pay Rate

To Be Considered You Must Have

  • Previous experience in precast concrete, concrete manufacturing, construction labouring or a similar heavy industrial environment
  • Ability to safely perform repetitive manual handling and lift up to 25kg
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Strong work ethic and reliability (consistent attendance is essential)
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team environment
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices
  • Availability for Monday – Friday day shifts, with potential overtime opportunities
