Reach Truck Operator/Storeman

LABOURPOWER is calling all Reach Truck Operator/Storeman for casual employment in a Tyre Warehouse in Ottoway.

You will be responsible for manually unloading tyres from shipping containers as a team, assist order pickers, load/unload truck/vans etc, and pick orders

To be suitable you:

  • Must hold a valid LF and LO licence (or willingness to obtain LO Licence).
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing.
  • Will need to have the physical stamina to perform repetitive manual handling duties as all forklift/reach truck. positions have a manual handling aspect to the roles.
  • Reliability and Punctuality are very important in this role.
  • Must be available to work Monday to Friday 7.30am to 2.30pm.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing, servicing, and growing a portfolio of valued accounts

What You Bring to the Role

Production Process Workers

Labourpower is currently seeking process workers and machine operators to work for our client located in Brendale. These roles will vary between being ongoing and on call roles. The roles will be starting immediately.

A range of different shifts are available such as morning, afternoon and night shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for an on-going work for the right candidate, with potential for training and upskilling.

To be successful for this role you will need:

  • You must be available to work on call
  • Available to work rotating roster if required
  • Able to work in a fast paced and physical environment
  • High level accuracy and attention to detail
  • Teamwork skills as well as ability to work autonomously
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Own car and licence
  • Good communication skills
  • Physically fit
  • Forklift licence an advantage, but not necessary
  • Be available to start immediately

Your duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Filling and sealing finished products
  • Packing finished products accurately into boxes
  • Be able to do general production paperwork and quality checks
  • Be responsible for quality
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Monitoring manufacturing machines to ensure they are running smoothly and reporting any faults

You MUST have Full Working Rights to work and reside in Australia and be able to work 38hrs per week.

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Sales Rep to support the daily operational needs of a large trailer manufacturer. The ideal candidate with have at least 3 years experience in sales, primarily in the automotive or machinery manufacturing, and demonstrate an ability to form strong, long lasting relationships with external stakeholders. Join a leader in trailer manufacturing and contribute to an essential business

The business involves:

  • the manufacture and sale of the client’s range of plant, tipper, car and box trailers;
  • the importation and distribution of Brian James Trailers, a premium UK brand used extensively to transport small earth moving and construction equipment; and
  • the importation and distribution of Riviera Horse Floats, a premium range of horse transport products.

The successful candidate will need to effectively apply their skill set and demonstrate a firm understanding of sales techniques, lead management and organic growth.

Primary Roles and Responsibility

  • Responding to enquiries from Facebook, telephone, website, email and walk-in traffic;
  • extensive interaction with customers, both on-site and at occasional off-site events such as trade shows and field days;
  • Liaison with the workshop team to ensure products are assembled in a timely fashion and ready for handover to customers as ordered;
  • Affixing licence plates and VIN plates to completed products, and performing the final quality check;
  • Invoicing, taking payments, licensing and other paperwork to complete sales;
  • Handing over sold products to customers;
  • General marketing and advertising functions, particularly on social media; and
  • Some administrative functions such as maintaining sales materials.

To be successful you will need to demonstrate:

  • People skills are a must, and a background in sales or marketing in the automotive, machinery, or horse industries would be highly advantageous
  • Knowledge of vehicle licensing in NSW would also be very beneficial.
  • Experience in a similar sales role would be valuable but is not essential.
  • Be personable, organised and professional;
  • Be an independent self starter;
  • Have a proven track record in sales and customer service;
  • Have mechanical aptitude;
  • Be social media savvy;
  • Hold a current drivers licence; and experience operating a forklift
  • Ideally have experience using sales or inventory management software.
