About the Role:
We’re looking for hands on, motivated Machine Operators to work in our busy recycling facility located in Somerton.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the machines and production runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. It’s a fast-paced environment, so attention to detail, strong communication, and a safety-first mindset are essential.
Day, Afternoon and Night Shift Positions Available
**Candidates must be willing to work in a noisy and dusty environment and handle recycled rubbish **
What You’ll Do:
- Operate and manage machinery to meet production goals safely and efficiently
- Lead and support your small team to keep operations running smoothly.
- Follow all safety procedures, wear the right PPE, and help maintain a clean, safe workspace.
- Keep an eye on quality and raise any concerns about materials or equipment.
- Help with quality trials, sampling, and capturing operational data.
- Jump in wherever needed you will be a key part of making sure everything runs like clockwork!
Who You Are:
- Minimum 2 years machine operating with manufacturing experience
- Valid FLD licence
- Safety-conscious with a sharp eye for detail.
- A great communicator who can work well with a team and follow instructions.
- Physically capable of working in a fast-paced environment and willing to perform all other duties, including cleaning.
- Problem-solver who enjoys keeping things running smoothly.

We’re looking for experienced day & afternoon shift Counterbalance forklift operators to work in our busy production recycling facility located in Somerton. You’ll help our production lines run smoothly, support your colleagues, and make a real impact on how we work – all while being part of a friendly, safety-first team.
**Candidates must be willing to work in a noisy and dusty environment **
Day shift 6am-2pm – Monday to Friday
Afternoon Shift 2pm-10pm – Monday to Friday
What You’ll Do
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift to move raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, and waste around the site.
- Keep production lines flowing by ensuring materials are in the right place at the right time
- Work alongside the production team to support equipment and processes
- Communicate openly with supervisors and colleagues to keep operations smooth and safe
- Pitch in on other operational tasks as needed – no two days are the same!
What We’re Looking For
- Valid LF Forklift Licence (essential)
- Experience with grab attachments
- Forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (preferred)
- Confidence working in a busy, fast-moving environment
- Good communication and team skills
- Willing to work in a noisy and dirty environment
- Physically capable and ready to get involved in all other duties, including general cleaning, picking up rubbish.
