Production Clerk – Quality Control and Data Entry

  • Pay rate: Level 3 Clerical – $37.13 per hour inclusive of casual loading

  • Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm (3-4 day per week placement considered)
  • Location: Kingsgrove location
  • Commencing: ASAP

We are currently seeking a motivated Production clerk to support the day to day production needs of a raw materials business. The role is responsible for managing the administrative and data-driven aspects of the manufacturing process, with a specialised focus on inventory accuracy through back flushing (automatic consumption of materials upon production completion). You will serve as a vital link between the production floor, purchasing, and warehouse departments, ensuring that production records are accurate, materials are available, and finished goods are properly accounted for in the ERP

Responsibilities:

  • Firm understanding of CRM and/or data entry processes (Dynamics 365 highly valued)
  • Perform back flushing in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or ERP system to automatically issue raw materials to production orders based on finished goods output.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods by conducting regular inventory audits and reconciling, with requisitions.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors, procurement, and logistics to resolve material shortages, expedite orders, and ensure on-time delivery
  • Ensure adequate amounts of materials are used and available
  • Record and track daily production, including quantities produced, scrap, and defects.
  • Collaborate with the Production team to investigate discrepancies
  • Input system data with high accuracy regarding quantities, routings and adjustments
  • Analyse and prepare reports on production metrics, such as actual vs. estimated material usage

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment, ideally with experience in ERP systems
  • Quality Assurance or Control experience preferred but not essential
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and familiarity with MES or WMS software. (Dynamics 365 highly regarded)
  • Meticulous accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Effective verbal and written skills for coordinating with various departments.
  • Positive and collaborative attitude a must.

Labourpower is currently recruiting for experienced machine operators to work in a National Food Manufacturing plant in Kingsgrove. These roles will focus primarily in raw and unprocessed ingredients. These roles will be ongoing.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

  • DAY – 6:00am-2:00pm
  • AFTERNOON – 2:00pm – 10:00pm
  • NIGHT – 10:00pm-6:00am

To be successful for this role you will need:

  • Machine operating experience
  • Previous experience within the manufacturing and/or warehouse industry
  • Food manufacturing and distribution experience preferred, but not essential
  • Excellent safety record
  • Great attendance record
  • Willing to undertake manual handling
  • Current LF license and experience is desired but not necessary
  • Have FULL WORKING RIGHTS and AVAILABILITY

Labourpower is currently seeking an experience PRODUCTION CLERK to work in a Food Manufacturing plant in Kingsgrove. This role is a critical support position within the production team. This position is ongoing and available for an immediate start.

To be successful for this role you will need:

  • Mandatory experience ERP system – Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
  • Previous experience as a Production Clerk or in a manufacturing administration role
  • Experience in food manufacturing or mill environments (highly regarded)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills and basic mathematical ability
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and autonomously when required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Understanding of food safety standards (HACCP, GMPs)
  • Have FULL WORKING RIGHTS and AVAILABILITY

Your duties will include but not limited to:

  • Preparing and maintaining production schedules
  • Managing inventory levels and reconciling stock within D365
  • Processing purchase orders and production documentation
  • Completing production, sanitation, and quality records accurately
  • Liaising with procurement, quality assurance, logistics and production teams
  • Supporting quality checks and ensuring compliance with food safety standards
  • Identifying and assisting in resolving production issues
  • General administrative and production support duties as required

Located in Kingsgrove, this manufacturing plant and warehouse is part of the initial stages of the Food Manufacturing Supply Chain. Dealing primarily in raw and unprocessed ingredients, this site is the distribution hub, providing its satellite manufacturing plants with the necessary products for their operations.

This client operates 3 shifts;

  • Day – 6.30am-2.30pm
  • Afternoon – 2.30pm-10.30pm
  • Night – 10.30pm-6.30am

Successful applicants will have/be;

  • Current LF Licence
  • Food Manufacturing/Production experience.
  • Machine operating experience
  • Heavy Lifting
