About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused General Hand / Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations. This role involves forklift operation, stock movement, loading and unloading trucks, order picking, and general warehouse duties in a fast-paced logistics environment. Similar warehouse roles in Erskine Park require a combination of forklift operation, manual handling, RF scanning, and general warehouse support.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate high reach and counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Move stock to and from warehouse racking locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Perform RF scanning and inventory transactions.
- Conduct pre-start equipment checks and report any faults.
- Assist with pallet wrapping, labelling, and stock replenishment.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) policies and procedures.
- Perform general warehouse and labouring duties as required.
Skills & Experience
- Current LF Forklift Licence.
- Previous high reach and/or counterbalance forklift experience.
- Experience loading and unloading trucks.
- RF scanning and warehouse management system experience preferred.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks and lift products safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable attendance and a positive team attitude.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks when required.

Duties include manually loading and unloading trucks with parcels that can weigh up to 15kg – 35kg. You must be physically fit and be able to lift heavy items repetitively for your full shift.

About the Role:
We’re currently seeking experienced freight handlers to join a busy logistics operation in Erskine Park. This is a casual ongoing position with the potential for long-term work. The role involves manually loading and unloading trucks with parcels weighing 15kg – 25kg, so you must be physically fit and capable of repetitive heavy lifting throughout your shift.
Shift Info:
- Start time: 4PM (Monday to Friday)
- Finish time: Varies daily based on workload
- Quiet periods: 4-6 hour shifts
- Peak periods: up to 8-10 hour shifts
To be successful, you must:
- Be available Monday to Friday with ongoing availability
- Have freight unloading or heavy labouring experience
- Be able to lift 15kg-25kg repeatedly
- Be physically fit and reliable
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Have a clean criminal history
- Be willing to undergo a medical fitness assessment and a drug & alcohol test at our Labourpower office in Prestons
