About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operators to join our bin wash operations team in Erskine Park. This is a hands-on role that combines forklift operation, automated machinery use, and manual labour.
You will be responsible for operating bin washing equipment, performing high-pressure washing, and ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely. Accurate data recording using scanners and reporting tools is a key part of this role.
This position also requires a practical, problem-solving mindset. If machinery breaks down, you will be expected to assist with troubleshooting or revert to manual washing methods to maintain workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently
- Use automated bin washing machinery
- Perform manual washing using high-pressure hoses and tools
- Accurately record production and operational data
- Troubleshoot machinery issues and assist with minor repairs

Skills & Requirements
- Valid Forklift Licence (Counterbalance) – essential

- Comfortable using scanners and digital reporting tools
- Reliable transport (site not accessible via public transport)
- Ability to work day or night shift as required

Freight Handler

About the Role:
We’re currently seeking experienced freight handlers to join a busy logistics operation in Erskine Park. This is a casual ongoing position with the potential for long-term work. The role involves manually loading and unloading trucks with parcels weighing 15kg – 25kg, so you must be physically fit and capable of repetitive heavy lifting throughout your shift.
Shift Info:
- Start time: 4PM (Monday to Friday)
- Finish time: Varies daily based on workload
- Quiet periods: 4-6 hour shifts
- Peak periods: up to 8-10 hour shifts
To be successful, you must:
- Be available Monday to Friday with ongoing availability
- Have freight unloading or heavy labouring experience
- Be able to lift 15kg-25kg repeatedly
- Be physically fit and reliable
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Have a clean criminal history
- Be willing to undergo a medical fitness assessment and a drug & alcohol test at our Labourpower office in Prestons
