The Opportunity
Labourpower is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Account Manager to join our Altona team.
Managing a portfolio of clients across Melbourne, you’ll be responsible for building strong relationships, supporting workforce requirements and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out on the road, solving problems and taking ownership of client outcomes.
Experience within blue-collar recruitment is highly regarded; however, candidates with strong account management or workforce management experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, service and grow an existing portfolio of clients
- Build strong client relationships and deliver outstanding customer service
- Conduct client visits, site inspections and workforce inductions
- Coordinate workforce rostering using our custom technology platform
- Attend to payroll enquiries and employee concerns
- Identify opportunities for account growth and new business development
- Conduct risk assessments, workplace observations and toolbox talks
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance requirements are met
Please note: This role requires flexibility, including occasional early morning starts for workforce inductions.
About You
- Previous experience in blue-collar recruitment, account management or workforce management
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with excellent time management
- Solutions-focused with a proactive approach
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of compliance and workplace safety
- Experience using FastTrack360 highly regarded
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle essential

MORNING – $32.06
6AM TO 2PM OR 7AM TO 3PM
AFTERNOON – $36.86
2PM TO 10PM OR 3PM TO 11PM
NIGHT – $38.15
10PM TO 6AM OR 11PM TO 7AM

FOOD PRODUCTION WORKERS
- Packaging finished food products, ensuring proper labelling, and preparing them for storage or shipment.
- Cleaning equipment, maintaining sanitation standards, and adhering to hygiene regulations.
- Assisting with various stages of the production process, including loading materials, monitoring equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Inspecting products for defects, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring proper packaging.
INGREDIENT MIXERS
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ensuring the dough or batter meets quality standards before it moves to the next stage of production.
- Operating mixers, scales, and other related equipment safely and efficiently.
- Measuring, weighing, and combining ingredients according to specified recipes and formulas.
- Adhering to standard operating procedures, including safety guidelines and quality control measures.
- Completing necessary paperwork, including batch records and production logs.

Labourpower is currently seeking experienced High Reach operators (Crown joystick) with a minimum of two years experience.
Day Shift: 6am to 2pm & Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm to 10:30pm
Successful applicants should have:
- A valid Forklift licence – LF
- Proven high reach experience (Crown/Linde)
- Experience moving large quantities of stock around a warehouse
- Be available to start immediately
- The confidence and ability to work unsupervised when needed
- All required PPE – including steel capped boots and high visibility clothing
- A valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment while meeting all OH&S regulations
