What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing, servicing, and growing a portfolio of valued accounts
  • Recruiting and placing suitable candidates for Client roles
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and client satisfaction at every touchpoint
  • Conducting client site visits, toolbox talks, job observations, and risk assessments
  • Managing workforce safety, pay queries, and payroll communications
  • Identifying new client opportunities and converting leads
  • Empowering your on-site workforce and ensuring compliance
  • Note: This role may include occasional early morning inductions at client sites

What You Bring to the Role

  • Experience in blue collar recruitment or a strong willingness to learn
  • Proactive and energetic approach with a focus on outcomes
  • Excellent time management, compliance awareness, and customer service
  • Confidence in stakeholder communication and multitasking in a high-volume environment
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office and computer skills
  • Previous experience in team coordination or performance management is a bonus
  • Current driver’s licence and vehicle

The opportunity:

Labourpower are currently seeking a motivated and energetic Account Manager to join our team in Upper Mount Gravatt. We need someone to service our clients across the North, East and Bayside area, so it’s a great opportunity for a Account Manager who may not live close to our office, but is located close to our clients.

Ideally, the successful candidate would come from a blue collar recruitment environment. They would have developed the ability to build instant rapport with clients and would have fine-tuned their administration, HR/Safety and customer service skills or a willingness to learn.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage, service and grow your portfolio of accounts ensuring excellent customer service is provided at all times
  • Conduct site visits and inductions as required
  • Workforce rostering via our own custom designed technology
  • Empower a safe workforce
  • Attend to pay queries and payroll emails promptly
  • Identify, cultivate and develop new clients and opportunities
  • Conduct risk assessments for client sites and new clients using LP’s risk assessment procedure
  • Conduct monthly job observations and toolbox talks for all designated clients
  • **PLEASE NOTE – THERE WILL BE SOME EARLY MORNING INDUCTIONS

The knowledge, skills and abilities we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrated experience in blue collar recruitment
  • A proactive and energetic approach to your work
  • Exceptional time management and highly organised
  • An understanding and appreciation of compliance
  • Excellent customer service
  • A strong internal & external rapport with key stakeholders
  • Able to multi-task in this exciting high volume environment
  • Intermediate to advanced computer and MS office skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Experience in managing a team and providing feedback and at times performance managing staff
  • Car and license
