We are currently seeking a highly experiences Management Accountant to manage and over see the monthly finances of a large Transport Company in Port Botany. The ideal candidate will be a self starter and demonstrate an ability to support all aspects of reporting, month end, reconciliations, cash flow, balance sheets and budgeting for the accounts of the business.
The role with consist of the following duties
- Month end journals as required and the review and analysis of monthly results of the business
- Balance sheet reconciliation management
- Bank Reconciliations
- Manage vehicle registrations across the fleet
- Assist Financial Controller in end of month reporting including the development of reports on key areas within the division (Maintenance, fuel, labour, capital, other).
- Provide assistance to the Financial Controller in managing the day to day financial performance of the business
- Revenue reporting as required by the business
- Commitment to the provision of a high level of customer focus to both internal and external customers.
- Develop a key understanding of current operational and financial systems
- Other duties as described by the Manager
Skills and Qualifications
- CPA Qualified or working towards
- A positive, self-motivated attitude
- Good verbal and written communication
- A pleasant and presentable manner
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Suite experience
- Strong attention to details and problem solving
- Technically proficient in accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in the use of Oracle will be considered highly advantageous
- Eager and willing attitude to learn new skills and processes
- Demonstrate problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Officer (Payable) to support the day to day operations of our client.
The ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate an understanding of accounts support processes and have a high level accuracy with data entry, reporting and spreadsheet creation.
The roles will be responsible but not limited to:
- Invoicing, reporting, reconciliation and finance support
- Primary focus on accounts payable duties and tasks
- Entering financial data into books, spreadsheets or accountancy software
- Keeping financial records organised and easy to access
- Locating or tracking invoices, receipts, purchase orders and other financial records
- Reconciling accounts at regular intervals (usually once-per-month)
- Providing financial data or reporting to management for audit purposes
- Checking for financial irregularities, data entry errors and potential fraud
Required Skills
- Certificate or diploma in bookkeeping or accounts desired, or documented experience
- Advanced level Excel knowledge

The ideal candidate will be a self starter and demonstrate an ability Lead a high-performing AR team of 3 in a national business who is a leader in their field. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll own the end-to-end accounts receivable function, drive cash flow outcomes and ensure accuracy, compliance and great service to all stakeholders.
The role with consist of the following duties
- Lead, coach and develop the AR team
- Oversee billing, cash application and collections
- Improve cash flow and reduce bad debt
- Monitor customer accounts and manage credit risk
- Approve credit limits, manage escalations, disputes and payment plans
- Support audits, month end and reporting
- Deal with escalate queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Drive process improvement across shared services
Skills and Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce or Business
- Proven experience leading an AR function
- Strong people leadership with a hands-on style
- Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management
- Familiarity with credit laws and regulations in Australia, including the National Consumer Credit Protection Act and the Privacy Act
- Commercial, outcomes-focused approach
- Advanced Excel and solid financial systems experience
- High attention to detail, organised and calm under pressure
