EXPERIENCED BUTCHERS – FOOD PRODUCTION – MILPERRA

Labourpower is recruiting for 5 EXPERIENCED PRODUCTION BUTCHERS for a Specialty Meats facility in Milperra.

Our client is a leader in the specialty smallgoods industry and is building their teams to meet demand. They are looking for staff experienced in both Butchery and production who are looking for a long-term employment/career opportunity.

To be successful for this role you will need;

  • Previous Butchery Experience – bandsaw, Deboning and exemplary knife skills
  • Previous Production Experience – mincing, packing machines, ovens, slicers
  • Excellent employment history within the industry
  • Strong understanding of HACCP, Food Safety and Hygiene guidelines
  • Strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety
  • Experience working in temperature-controlled environments
  • Stock receipt and dispatch

While the above skills and experience are extremely important, our client is also looking for staff who possess the below;

  • Attention to detail and a professional approach to work
  • Great Communication Skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Positive, confident approach to work.

The roles are full time, long-term employment opportunity 6am-4pm Monday to Friday.
