Trade Assistant – Welding

Labourpower is currently seeking an experienced Trade Assistant with basic MIG Welding experience for our client in Stapylton. Our client is a leader in manufacturing of pre-cast elements. The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of welding practices and a willingness to learn on the job.

• $32-$37 per hour negotiable
• Monday to Friday 5.00am-1.30pm
• Short day on Fridays
• Must have full working rights and availability
• Must have own transport and current drivers license
• Immediate start – with OT available

To be successful for this role you will need;

• Forklift license desirable but not essential
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Basic MIG welding experience
• Commitment to safety
• Can do attitude

Your duties will include but will not be limited to;

• Assist in welding and assembly of reo cages
• Work collaboratively with the manufacturing team
• Ensure all safety and quality standards are met
• Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance
