Recycling Pre-Sorters

LABOURPOWER is calling for Recycling Pre-Sorters for casual employment in the Western Suburbs of Adelaide.

The role of Sorter is to sort material on sorting line/conveyor effectively, monitor plant equipment and escalate any issues. Remove contamination and dangerous goods from line and dispose of correctly. Maintain and keep work area clean and organised. Actively participate to continuous improvements within the plant.

To be suitable you:

Will have strong communication skills
Will be reliable and willing to accept shifts at short notice (casual/on-call work)
Have ability to pass drug and alcohol test
Ability to perform under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to pass criminal history check
Physical stamina to stand for long period of time and complete repetitive manual handling
Be available for Day and Afternoon shifts
Have basic computer skills to complete required inductions

Desirable:

Drivers licence
Forklift licence
Previous experience working in recycling / waste management industry
