Located at the Port of Brisbane, the purpose of this position is to provide warehouse administrative support to the daily operations of a large company. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to assist and encourage the use of Company processes and procedures including Quality systems and risk management framework to ensure major operational standards are effective, efficient and in accordance with our client’s way.
Responsibilities:
- Uphold and lead by the organisational Mission statement, company objectives and promote this to all staff under your supervision
- Data entry
- Pallet documenting
- Completing processes involving the receipt and dispatch of 3PL goods
- Ensure all instances of service failure or loss or damage to customer goods are actioned accordingly
- Daily scanning, filing, and archiving of relevant documents
- Provide support to any document requests internally and externally
- Respond and assist with any queries relating to responsibilities
- Provide support to reporting manager
- Discover operational inefficiencies and report to manager to improve service level
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Previous experience in receiving or dispatch within 3PL warehouses
- Ability to build effective relationships, internally and externally
- Ability to deal difficult customers
- Ability meet deadlines and handle pressure / customer demands
- Self-managed, motivated, and energetic
- Computer skills desirable: ability to use the computer for transport related systems and Microsoft applications such as Office 365, Excel & Word

- Monthly account reconciliation; and Completion of on boarding and inductions.
Skills and experience will include:

- General administrative skills such as data entry;
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;

- Previous experience with cash handling;

- Ensure integrity of specific client inventory held at site
- Identify and investigate all stock discrepancies and reporting as required
- Co-ordinate daily cycle counts and wall to wall storage location checks to ensure integrity of client inventory nationally
- Assist with stock takes, including scheduling, updating procedures and reconciliation resources
- Maintains WMS database in terms of parity between systems and report KPI variances
- Monitor and deliver on all relevant inventory KPIs and report to internal stakeholders and the customer
- assist with training of inventory control concepts and methods of measurement and improvement
Qualifications:
- Sound experience in WMS systems in an RF environment
- Sound experience within the Logistics industry preferably in a 3PL environment with focus on inventory management functions
- Advanced MS Excel and MS Officer user
- ability to meet the roles responsibilities with minimal supervision.
