We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Sales Rep to support the daily operational needs of a large trailer manufacturer. The ideal candidate with have at least 3 years experience in sales, primarily in the automotive or machinery manufacturing, and demonstrate an ability to form strong, long lasting relationships with external stakeholders. The business involves:
- the manufacture and sale of the client’s range of plant, tipper, car and box trailers;
- the importation and distribution of Brian James Trailers, a premium UK brand used extensively to transport small earth moving and construction equipment; and
- the importation and distribution of Riviera Horse Floats, a premium range of horse transport products.
The successful candidate will need to effectively apply their skill set and demonstrate a firm understanding of sales techniques, lead management and organic growth.
Primary Roles and Responsibility
- Responding to enquiries from Facebook, telephone, website, email and walk-in traffic;
- extensive interaction with customers, both on-site and at occasional off-site events such as trade shows and field days;
- Liaison with the workshop team to ensure products are assembled in a timely fashion and ready for handover to customers as ordered;
- Affixing licence plates and VIN plates to completed products, and performing the final quality check;
- Invoicing, taking payments, licensing and other paperwork to complete sales;
- Handing over sold products to customers;
- General marketing and advertising functions, particularly on social media; and
- Some administrative functions such as maintaining sales materials.
To be successful you will need to demonstrate:
- People skills are a must, and a background in sales or marketing in the automotive, machinery, or horse industries would be highly advantageous
- Knowledge of vehicle licensing in NSW would also be very beneficial.
- Experience in a similar sales role would be valuable but is not essential.
- Be personable, organised and professional;
- Be an independent self starter;
- Have a proven track record in sales and customer service;
- Have mechanical aptitude;
- Be social media savvy;
- Hold a current drivers licence; and experience operating a forklift
- Ideally have experience using sales or inventory management software.

We are seeking a dynamic, self starter to join a busy customer service team in Heathwood. As the Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for the developing effective relationships with the clients national customer base.
Primary Roles and Responsibility
- Responding to online and phone enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Performing bookings and schedules for staff and delivery drivers
- Following up on deliveries and ensuring DIFOT is adhered to
- Assisting Customers with claims relating to damages, breakages and/or incomplete goods
- Create strong relationships with customers and offering quick and responsive updates
- Liaise with the warehouse and factory staff in regards to damage claims
- Document all claims and enquiries into the company database
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times
- Scheduling of deliveries
To be successful you will need to demonstrate:
- Experience in Customer Service, Internal Sales and/or Administration
- A self starter who can work unsupervised and independently
- Strong problem solving skills and a solutions focused attitude essential
- Strong computer literacy with experience in Microsoft suite
- Be a positive, solutions focused customer service officer
- High levels of attention to detail and a passion for streamlining and enhancing efficiency’s
- Team first mentality, with a passion for supporting and helping others
