Transport Coordinator

  • $38.99 per hour casual rate
  • Monday to Friday 6.00am-2.00pm
  • Casual role
  • Port of Brisbane Location
  • 3PL experience required
  • Must have own vehicle and drivers license

We are seeking an experienced Transport Administrator who can provide support within the Customer Service team of a large transport company. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, previous experience in 3PL customer service and demonstrate an ability to be flexible while completing adhoc administrative duties.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key standards:

  • Coordination improvement through scheduling.
  • Scheduling FCL
  • Scheduling Export
  • Customer Communication on scheduling changes delays – Working Directly with Allocators
  • Wharf Exception – Import
  • Wharf Acceptance – Export
  • Monitoring Customs / Bio Security requirements
  • Aqis management – Working with Local AQIS team for bookings
  • Correct staging in yard – Bond Containers
  • Monitor jobs WF-CUST – YD – MT leg completion
  • Monitor customer specific empties (Trailers at customers)
  • Monitor CSO , customer checks
  • Review adhoc’s and capture additional TPT / additional shipment charging
  • Client systems – Specific administration and data management (additional experience req)
  • Yard diggout planning and VGM management
  • Cross training on Mirroring, Wharf planning, Allocation
  • Scheduling 3PL unpack (ADHOC Requests + AQIS)- WFT, LITS monitoring Drop downs and WMS
  • Generic PWS Upload for FCL clients / AQIS accounts if required – occasional
  • Scheduling CFS unpacks (ADHOC Requests + AQIS)
  • CFS Tally in and out – Blind Gate In and Gate out FCL / LCL -container work order monitoring
  • LCL Scheduling, creation of tautliner jobs and daily monitoring of scheduled loads, back loads

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in 3PL customer service highly valued
  • High level of knowledge with all MS Office programs including Work, Excel, Powerpoint and Publisher
  • Highly organised
  • Resilient

Customer Service Officer

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer who can provide support to the daily operations of a large transport company at the Port of Brisbane. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and demonstrate an ability to be flexible while completing adhoc administrative duties.

This is a great opportunity for a an administrative professional who is looking for long term employment opportunities, can roll with the punches and his highly organised when managing multiple tasks.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key standards:

  • To provide outstanding levels of administrative support to the daily operations of a large freighting company
  • Have high level of accuracy and attention to detail with data entry tasks
  • Demonstrate high level of organisation skills and managing priorities calmly
  • Have a high level understanding of clerical duties
  • Previous experience in Transport and Logistics an advantage but not essential
  • To present oneself in a positive and professional manner at all times.
  • To aim to build strong and positive business relationships with customers and end users.
  • Can create promotion signage for fund raising and special events each month
  • Set up board room for meetings, ensure all resources are available and take minutes where applicable
  • To co-operate by willingly participating and supporting team decisions, being a good team player.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A certificate in Business Administration or at least 2 years admin experience required
  • High level of knowledge with all MS Office programs including Work, Excel, Powerpoint and Publisher
  • Be creative and able to create marketing signage
  • Highly organised
  • Resilient
