Shift times: (2 week rotating roster)

Week 1: 6am to 2pm

Week 2: 8am to 4pm

Location: Hornsby

About the role:
We are seeking a switch on General Hand to work within a large manufacturing company in Hornsby, NSW.

This is an interesting physical role within a manufacturing/Industrial environment and as such it can get hot/cold as well as dusty/dirty.

To be successful:

Full-time availability (Monday – Friday, 38+ hours per week) – No part-time positions

  • Intermediate Computer skills including data entry
  • SAP experience (preferable but not essential)
  • Must be willing to do both Computer work as well as Labour intensive work
  • Ability to follow instructions and adapt to a 2 week rotating roster
  • Reliability, strong work ethic, and physical fitness
  • Comfortable lifting 10kg – 25kg
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Open to overtime when required
  • Prior experience in process work or machine operation is desirable but not essential
  • Reliable transport required
  • Must be willing to undergo a medical fitness assessment

Chemical Compounder

Our client who is located in the Hornsby area is looking for a meticulous Chemical Compounder/Dispensary Operator to join their production team and support the Liquids Blending Compounder.

In this role, You’ll be responsible for accurately measuring, mixing, and compounding liquid ingredients to produce high-quality cosmetic formulations. Your attention to detail will directly impact the consistency and excellence of the final product.

This is an ongoing DAY SHIFT role working with their production team in a supportive & progressive environment. The 8 hour shift starts at 6am one week and 8am the following week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately measure and mix liquid ingredients according to precise formulations.

  • Assist blending compounders and monitor blending operations for quality and consistency.

  • Document production data and participate in quality control testing.

  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines.

  • Comply with SOPs and industry regulations within the cosmetics sector.

  • Collaborate with chemists and supervisors to improve blending efficiency.

  • Quickly report any process deviations or equipment malfunctions.

About You

  • Prior experience in blending, compounding, or production, ideally in cosmetics or chemical manufacturing.

  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, including formulations and quality standards.

  • Comfortable using blending machinery, measurement tools, and basic computer systems.

  • Strong commitment to precision and product quality.

  • Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.

  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
