We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Sales Rep to support the daily operational needs of a large trailer manufacturer. The ideal candidate with have at least 3 years experience in sales, primarily in the automotive or machinery manufacturing, and demonstrate an ability to form strong, long lasting relationships with external stakeholders. The business involves:
- the manufacture and sale of the client’s range of plant, tipper, car and box trailers;
- the importation and distribution of Brian James Trailers, a premium UK brand used extensively to transport small earth moving and construction equipment; and
- the importation and distribution of Riviera Horse Floats, a premium range of horse transport products.
The successful candidate will need to effectively apply their skill set and demonstrate a firm understanding of sales techniques, lead management and organic growth.
Primary Roles and Responsibility
- Responding to enquiries from Facebook, telephone, website, email and walk-in traffic;
- extensive interaction with customers, both on-site and at occasional off-site events such as trade shows and field days;
- Liaison with the workshop team to ensure products are assembled in a timely fashion and ready for handover to customers as ordered;
- Affixing licence plates and VIN plates to completed products, and performing the final quality check;
- Invoicing, taking payments, licensing and other paperwork to complete sales;
- Handing over sold products to customers;
- General marketing and advertising functions, particularly on social media; and
- Some administrative functions such as maintaining sales materials.
To be successful you will need to demonstrate:
- People skills are a must, and a background in sales or marketing in the automotive, machinery, or horse industries would be highly advantageous
- Knowledge of vehicle licensing in NSW would also be very beneficial.
- Experience in a similar sales role would be valuable but is not essential.
- Be personable, organised and professional;
- Be an independent self starter;
- Have a proven track record in sales and customer service;
- Have mechanical aptitude;
- Be social media savvy;
- Hold a current drivers licence; and experience operating a forklift
- Ideally have experience using sales or inventory management software.

About the role:
We are seeking a switch on High Reach Forklift Operator to work within a large manufacturing company in Hornsby, NSW.
This is an interesting physical role within a manufacturing/Industrial environment and as such it can get hot/cold as well as dusty/dirty.
To be successful:
Full-time availability (Monday – Friday, 38+ hours per week) – No part-time positions
- Operate high reach forklifts to move pallets and stock around the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring goods are secured and documented
- Pick, pack, and stack pallets accurately and safely
- Use RF scanners to locate, pick and put away stock
- Replenish shelves and manage stock rotation
- Maintain a clean and safe working area
- Follow all WHS procedures
- Perform daily pre-start checks and report any faults or hazards
- Work closely with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet deadlines
- Reliable transport required
- Must be willing to undergo a medical fitness assessment

Operate electric and manual pallet jacks, pallet trucks, and other machinery to move raw materials, packaging, and finished products within the production and warehouse areas.

Safely load and unload pallets, ensuring goods are handled with care to avoid damage.

Support fitters in setting up equipment by delivering materials and assisting with component movement.

Inventory & Stock Control

Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing goods, checking both quantity and quality against documentation.

Label, scan, and place products into designated areas in accordance with warehouse procedures.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records, ensuring trace ability and accountability of inventory.

Identify, locate, and supply the correct products during the production process to support continuous work flow.

Workplace Safety & Compliance

Adhere to all workplace safety regulations, including manual handling practices, machine operation guidelines, and PPE requirements.

Keep inventory areas, loading zones, and equipment clean, tidy, and hazard-free.

Immediately report any faults, damages, or safety risks to supervisors.

Teamwork & Production Support

Collaborate with production, fitting, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.

Follow written and verbal instructions in English, ensuring compliance with production schedules and quality standards.

Assist with general housekeeping and operational duties as required.
Skills & Requirements:

Experience operating electric pallet trucks is essential.

The Fitter will play a key role in ensuring that all manufacturing and packaging machinery runs efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities

Perform mechanical fitting, maintenance, and repair work on production and packaging equipment

Conduct preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns and optimise machine performance

Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults quickly to reduce production downtime

Assist with machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers for production runs

Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
Requirements

Trade qualification as a Fitter or Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent)

Previous experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment (cosmetics, food, beverage, or pharmaceutical experience highly regarded)

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

Sound mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability
