About the Role
Labourpower are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our client’s production team based in Balcatta and Canning Vale. You’ll be responsible for operating and monitoring blow moulding machinery, ensuring safe practices, and maintaining quality standards throughout the packaging process.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate blow moulding machinery safely, including start up and shutdown procedures.
- Perform basic machine corrections as needed.
- Monitor product quality and quickly address any issues.
- Report and assist in resolving machine breakdowns.
- Accurately record production data and downtime events.
- Manage non-conforming products through separation and rework.
- Conduct visual inspections during packing processes.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with Production Managers, Leading Hands, and Quality Control Officers.
About You
- Experience in blow moulding and/or plastics manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- A reliable and punctual work ethic.
- Willingness to follow direction from supervisors and leading hands.
