We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Cleaner to join our team at a busy plastic recycling facility in Altona.
This is a hands-on cleaning role suited to someone who is comfortable working in an industrial environment and isn’t afraid to get stuck in.
About the Role
You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and tidy workplace across both indoor and outdoor areas of the facility.
Duties will include:
- Cleaning factory floors, work areas and amenities
- Removing and handling rubbish and waste
- Cleaning both inside and outside the facility
- Maintaining general cleanliness and presentation of the site

About You

This is an ongoing opportunity working in a fast-paced food production environment. The role will involve operating and monitoring production machinery, along with packaging and generally production duties.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a counterbalance forklift throughout the warehouse and production areas
- Load and unload trucks and containers

Key Responsibilities
- Cut, trim, portion, and prepare raw meat products according to production specifications.

What You’ll Do

- Keep production lines flowing by ensuring materials are in the right place at the right time
- Work alongside the production team to support equipment and processes
- Communicate openly with supervisors and colleagues to keep operations smooth and safe
- Pitch in on other operational tasks as needed – no two days are the same!
- Jump off forklift and help clean up and sweep and pick up rubbish and plastic bottles.
What We’re Looking For
