Labourpower has partnered with one of Australia’s leading manfucturing companies and have an opportunity for a Process Technician/QA on Night Shift, located in Tullamarine.

About the Role:

As a Process Technician/QA, you will play a critical role in setting up, operating, and optimising production machinery to ensure consistent product quality and efficient output. You will bridge the gap between machine operation and technical process control, contributing directly to plant performance.

You will commence on day shift for training, before transitioning to the night shift.

Key Responsibilities

Optimise processing parameters (temperature zones, cycle times, air pressure)
Troubleshoot process faults such as material distribution issues or cooling defects
Monitor machine performance, identifying abnormalities in vibration, temperature, or output
Conduct quality checks and sampling to meet production and compliance standards
Document and maintain master process settings and profiles
Work collaboratively with production teams to minimise downtime and improve efficiency
Adhere to all safety procedures and site compliance requirements

About You

Proven experience in plastics manufacturing (extrusion and/or injection blow moulding)
Strong knowledge of all paperwork, compliance & accreditation documentation
Strong hands-on technical and mechanical aptitude – highly regardedy
Understanding of polymer behaviour and processing techniques – highly regarded
Strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
