FORKLIFT OPERATOR WITH LO LICENCE

LO Forklift Operator – Order Picking & Warehouse
Location: Minto
Shift: Day Shift | 6:00am – 2:00pm
Pay Rate: $42.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator with an LO Licence to join a busy automotive distribution centre in Minto. This role combines LO forklift operation, order picking, and general warehouse labouring duties in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate an LO Order Picker safely and efficiently to retrieve stock from high-bay racking.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare automotive parts and accessories for customer orders.
  • Use RF scanners to accurately locate, scan, and process inventory.
  • Ensure all orders are picked correctly and prepared for dispatch.
  • Replenish stock and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Perform manual handling and lift products safely in accordance with workplace procedures.
  • Conduct pre-start equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow all WHS policies, safe operating procedures, and company standards.
  • Assist with stocktakes, cycle counts, and general warehouse duties as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Current LO (Order Picker) Licence.

  • High Reach Forklift Experience
  • RF scanning and WMS experience.

Microbiologist

  • 5 days per week 8.00am-4.00pm – including weekends

The purpose of the Microbiologist is to provide guidance to the site in all areas of microbiology and hygiene. You will be the Microbiological site expert across all areas from testing to driving sanitation improvements and GMP. The key requirement is the ability to work, influence and support with the manufacturing teams to not just measure the micro results but to drive change and improvement through education and engagement

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key standards:

  • Complete microbiological analysis across the site and product as per HACCP/Quality requirements.
  • Good understanding of environmental monitoring programs
  • Provide microbiological performance reporting to quality and to the broader production teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Educate and inform the team on best practice micro control including sanitation and cleaning.
  • Work alongside the manufacturing team and the sanitation chemical provider to improve cleaning results, cost, effectiveness, and efficiencies.
  • Ensure GMP practices are implemented successfully, conducting regular inspections in accordance with the GMP audit document.
  • Ensure all compliance requirements are met.
  • Develop and validate microbial testing methods to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to microbiological testing and hygiene practices.
  • Investigate and address any incidents of contamination or non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and research and development, to address microbial-related challenges
  • All activities are reviewed for safety to self, staff, and others.
  • All hazards are identified, and appropriate management strategies recommended.
  • All accidents and incidents are reported on appropriate forms and issues for resolution and management articulated

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A quality mindset with a quality first mentality
  • Previous beverage Microbiology experience
  • Relevant tertiary degree (Bachelor’s degree in science (Microbiology preferred)
  • Knowledge of food safety programs (HACCP)
  • Knowledge of ISO/IEC, GLP and hygiene principles in manufacturing
  • Strong communication skills and ability to support and influence stakeholders
  • Problem solving and root cause analysis
  • Ability to work effectively within or lead cross- functional teams and adapt to a dynamic production environment
  • A can-do attitude willingness to learn and share best practice methodology
  • Knowledge of SAP – QM module
  • Knowledge of AIB standard
  • Sanitation experience.
  • History of effective training and upskilling of teams

Daily Duties

  • Maintain LT/ scheduling inbox from Sales/Rep

  • Makes any changes from request from Team leaders
  • Rescheduling each afternoon for the next day
  • Send out daily reports
  • Unscheduled vs scheduled
  • All emails received and replied to by no later than 4pm
  • Imports done daily
  • Removed items, are viewed daily

Experience and Qualifications

  • 2-3 years’ experience in production planning or supply chain planning
  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field ideal
  • Strong experience with ERP systems
  • Understanding of manufacturing environments
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer who can support our clients ongoing capital and site execution projects. The core of this role will focus on project execution, contractor management, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring compliance with our clients Quality and HSE standards. The ideal candidate will be a s elf starter, demonstrate at least 5 years experience in a similar role and work as a solutions focused member of the team as a whole.

Primary Roles and Responsibility

  • Site project execution – Support end‑to‑end delivery of capital and infrastructure works at the Suttontown manufacturing site.
  • Contractor coordination – Supervise contractors, ensure compliance with scope, permits, and daily work plans.
  • Quality & HSE compliance – Ensure all works meet Quality, Food Safety, and HSE standards, including safe work permits and risk assessments.
  • Project scheduling – Track daily progress, identify delays, and escalate risks to maintain timelines.
  • Budget adherence – Assist in monitoring project costs, verifying contractor claims, and preventing scope creep.
  • Stakeholder coordination – Liaise with production, maintenance, QA, HSE, and external vendors for seamless execution.
  • Technical documentation – Prepare and maintain drawings, change logs, red lines, and commissioning records.
  • Project handover – Support commissioning, validation, and structured handover to operations and maintenance teams.
  • Daily site supervision – Ensure work fronts are safe, resourced, and aligned with approved plans.
  • Permit-to-work compliance – Coordinate permits, isolation’s, and JSA reviews with contractors and HSE.
  • Risk identification – Flag technical, safety, and schedule risks early and support mitigation actions.
  • Material & equipment readiness – Verify availability of materials, tools, and equipment before execution.
  • Vendor communication – Support procurement and vendor follow-ups for timely delivery of project components.
  • Continuous improvement – Recommend improvements to execution processes, contractor performance, and site coordination.
  • Reporting & updates – Provide daily/weekly progress reports, highlight issues, and maintain project dashboards.

To be successful you will need to demonstrate:

  • Tertiary or professional qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Business Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years years experience within a similar role – manufacturing and/or FMCG experience highly valued
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
