About the role:

Duties include manually loading and unloading trucks with parcels that can weigh up to 15kg – 25kg’s. You must be physically fit and be able to lift heavy items repetitively for your full shift.

Labourpower Recruitment Services is seeking x2 skilled Waste Collection Driver with proven Rear Lift and Side Lift experience. You’ll be responsible for operating collection vehicles safely and efficiently while delivering high standards of service.

These positions will be commencing ASAP located at Raymond Terrace.

The waste industry has early morning starts applicants will need to be available to start work between the hours of 4am-530am working 8,10- & 12-hours shifts.

MR Truck Drivers – 3-4 Week Project | Golden Grove Depot

Labourpower is seeking experienced and dependable MR Truck Drivers for an immediate start on a structured 3-4 week delivery rollout based out of Golden Grove, servicing metro Adelaide locations.

This is a depot-based project requiring drivers who can commit to the full duration of the rollout and maintain high standards of reliability, professionalism and safety.

About the Role

  • Operating MR trucks for scheduled metro deliveries
  • Operating 1.5T automatic transit vans during selected delivery phases
  • Completing furniture and equipment deliveries
  • Assisting with loading, unloading and placement of goods onsite
  • Participating in 2-man delivery runs during furniture/equipment phases
  • Transitioning to 1-man delivery runs during cardboard delivery phase
  • Using the client Signoff App and Labourpower App for compliance and delivery confirmation
  • Providing professional customer interaction at delivery locations

This is a hands-on role. Drivers must be willing to move equipment and boxes – not solely operate the vehicle.

Project Details

  • 3-4 week structured rollout
  • Depot based in Golden Grove
  • Deliveries across Adelaide metro
  • Typical start time: 7:00am at depot (some variations may apply)
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend work not required, except Sunday 22 March (selected crew only)
  • Overtime may be required during peak phases

To Be Considered You Must Have

  • Current MR Driver Licence
  • Minimum 2 years recent MR driving experience
  • Proven multi-drop or furniture/equipment delivery experience
  • Strong record of reliability and punctuality
  • Confidence using mobile apps and delivery technology
  • Physical capability for consistent manual handling
  • Commitment to complete the full 3-4 week project
  • Ability to complete Drug & Alcohol screening, Reference and Criminal History checks
