Credit Officer

• $40-42 per hour inclusive of casual loading
• Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm
• Commencing ASAP
• Bankstown Airport Location

We are currently seeking an energetic Credit Officer to work in an Accounts Receivable team of 4 for a heavy industries client. Due to recent business growth they are adding to the team in a temp to perm capacity. Reporting to the National Credit Manager this role will be responsible for credit administration and maintaining the accounts receivable system.

The roles will be responsible but not limited to:

• Handle customer queries regarding copies of dockets, invoices, credit requests, etc.
• Update stop list daily.
• Monthly Cash Disbursement Lists copied and marked for swap payments on the same day.
• Small account rounding adjustments
• Update ATB with notes – 60-day accounts
• Process approved or declined Cr/Dr requests in systems.
• Weekly invoicing and adjustments as required
• New accounts – account forms to customers, process once returned as per tick list.
• Account reactivations – investigation & preparation for approval from CM ensuring all paperwork is completed and signed.
• Prepare credit limit Increases for approval.
• Conduct Credit search/ list with credit insurance for customers marked

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role in Credit and Accounts Receivable
• Intermediate excel skills
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent Customer Service
• Efficient organisational skills
