Labourpower has partnered with one of Australia’s leading Freight and Logistics Companies. We currently have opportunities for dock-hands/strappers and labourers on both Day & Afternoon Shift
AM Shift Start Time: 4AM onwards
PM Shift Start Time: 4PM onwards
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Manually loading/unloading freight onto a conveyor belt
- Unloading palletised freight & containers
- Sorting & scanning freight into correct categories
- Strapping & Wrapping pallets
- Manual Handling
- Sorting freight
To be successful for the role you will require the following:
- Previous experience in freight forwarding or loading/unloading in dock environments
- Able to commit to a Monday – Friday roster
- Physically fit; capable of bending and lifting consistently
- Your own reliable transport
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
