We are currently seeking an experienced Service Centre Assistant (Power tools) to support the operational needs of a large tool manufacturer.

The successful candidate must have prior experience in a similar fast paced environment and a working knowledge of product servicing and customer support. You will need to effectively apply these skills and demonstrate a firm understanding of process and procedure with warranty and damage claims.

Primary Roles and Responsibility

  • Prompt contact and communication to customers of the FSC regarding repair status.
  • Ensure prompt service for counter inquiries and/ or repairs.
  • Coordinating completion of RA’s with accounts & warehouse
  • Basic tool repairs after all other duties are completed.
  • Advising Service Centre Supervisor of potential stock issues and shortages
  • WHS responsibilities can include maintaining a safe system of work in the workplace including correct lifting methods.
  • Complying fully with the Makita (Australia) Occupational Health & Safety Policy Statement.
  • Obeying all relevant safety, health, and environment legislation
  • Duties may be varied from time to time consistent with the employee’s training and skills and such varied duties are to be performed to standards which will be specified as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience gained from working in a similar environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with an ability to empathise and prioritise customer needs.

We are currently seeking a highly experience Accounts Receivable Manager to manage the Billing Team of a large transport business in Port Botany. The ideal candidate will be a self starter and demonstrate an ability Lead a high-performing AR team of 3 in a national business who is a leader in their field. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll own the end-to-end accounts receivable function, drive cash flow outcomes and ensure accuracy, compliance and great service to all stakeholders.

The role with consist of the following duties

  • Lead, coach and develop the AR team
  • Oversee billing, cash application and collections
  • Improve cash flow and reduce bad debt
  • Monitor customer accounts and manage credit risk
  • Approve credit limits, manage escalations, disputes and payment plans
  • Support audits, month end and reporting
  • Deal with escalate queries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive process improvement across shared services

Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce or Business
  • Proven experience leading an AR function

We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join a Medical Device manufacturing business in Alexandria. Supporting the Warehouse Manager, this role is responsible to assist in leading the logistic team in all aspects of receiving, dispatch and day to day operations of the warehouse.

  • Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm
  • $85,000 per year, plus super

Responsibilities:

  • Review forecasts and historical usage for inventory ordering
  • Create purchase orders
  • Analyse levels to maintain optimal stock levels, no stock-outs
  • Liaise with global distribution centre to ensure orders are fulfilled on time.
  • Ensure orders are receipted and processed
  • Coordinate stock take/cycle count management
  • Replenish stock holdings for logistics and production
  • Liaise with the internal finance accounts team for invoice receipt
  • Credit returned stock processed and returned to the global distribution centre.
  • Support Logistic function (including Receiving, Packing and Distributing)

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain highly valued
  • 2-3+ year’s experience with inventory control, ordering (supply and demand)
  • Knowledge and operational experience in exposure to different supply chain areas
  • Experience in dealing and working with overseas factories and international freight providers
  • Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel

Required Skills/Qualification

  • Minimum certificate level in logistics and/or administration

Purpose of Position:

  • To safely execute planned maintenance on fixed, mobile and infrastructure assets.
  • Attend unplanned breakdown events working with other department stakeholders.
  • To improve plant up time, meeting or exceeding operational availability.
  • Assisting the business to achieve Maintenance and Operational budgets
  • Responsibilities:

    • Assist with the planning and execution of preventative maintenance activities aligned to agreed business schedules
    • Assist key stakeholders of internal departments to understand plant and equipment performance, adding value and improvements where needed
    • Identify and report opportunities that will value add to improve plant and equipment performance and run time availability
    • Execute planned works, completing all required paper work and reporting associated with parts and resources
    • Support a culture of continuous improvement to deliver sustainable improvements and collaboration within a maintenance team environment
    • Support cost reduction activities and reduce parts and material wastage
    • Make recommendations resulting in site production improvement initiatives
    • Attend and resolve required works in a timely manner

    • Complete appropriate documentation and parts management
    • Maintain hygiene / GMP to acceptable level for area of responsibility
    • Follow site/company guidelines on Quality System and HACCP procedures and policies

    • Ensure all plant and equipment is safe to operate and compliant with Plant Safety Regulations
    • Provide technical training as required to improve operators understanding of equipment
    • Investigate / trouble shoot faults, look for a long-term alternative to mitigate recurring issues
    • Where new products or equipment may be introduced, become the site content expert to assist operators
    • Identify critical spare parts required, escalate to ensure replacements and stock are replenished or purchased
    • Support other site departments including Production and Quality, to drive continuous improvement and best practice
    • Contribution to improving overall site and maintenance performance.
    • Participation & contribution in relevant meetings
    • Identify any gaps with specialist tooling or requirements to perform daily activities
    • Ensure all handheld tooling are stored, maintained and calibrations are up to date
    • All equipment and tolling is placed in it’s designated area

    Qualifications:

    • Trade qualifications in mechanical engineering or other relevant field
    • Working at Heights (WAH)
    • CPR and LVR (electrical)
    • C/space
    • Forklift (desirable)
    • EWP
    • A minimum of at least 3 years maintenance trade experience
    • Knowledge/experience in a Food Manufacturing environment
