Reporting to the QLD Logistics Manager, we have an opportunity available for an experience Dispatch Coordinator in Stapylton. The position is responsible for ensuring the effective and accurate management of transport and distribution administration to support the daily operational needs of the business.

Objectives of this Role:

  • To support the planning, coordination, and execution of logistics and dispatch operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • To assist in ensuring materials, products, or components are delivered on time and in good condition.
  • To contribute to the client’s activities and maintain a working knowledge of relevant processes.
  • To uphold the client’s values and comply with all company policies and procedures.

Key Result Areas:

Customer Service

  • Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support communication between departments, suppliers, and customers to streamline processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and promote a positive working environment

Team Support

  • Assist the Logistics & Dispatch Team Leader in daily operations.
  • Support task coordination and help monitor team performance as required.

Logistics/Dispatch

  • Assist with order approvals and fleet allocation under guidance.
  • Respond to customer and internal requests in a timely manner.
  • Support asset and site coordination for QLD logistics and dispatch.
  • Help maintain invoicing accuracy and contribute to freight margin tracking.

Coordination:

  • Help organise delivery schedules and optimise routes to reduce time and cost.
  • Communicate with internal teams, drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Assist in resolving delivery issues and adjusting schedules as needed.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure availability for dispatch.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments and delivery logs.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and time management.
  • Basic understanding of logistics and dispatch processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take direction.
  • Experience in logistics, scheduling, or a similar support role preferred.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Reliability and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Exposure to ERP systems or logistics software.
  • Certificate or coursework in logistics or supply chain management.

Food Production Workers

Labourpower is a National Recruitment Company, we are currently seeking highly skilled, diverse and reliable candidates for our clients based in Yatala.

We are looking for Food Production Workers who are able to work in an ongoing on-call casual role. You must be willing to work in a team environment and have the drive, initiative and can do attitude to get in and get the job done. Good communication skills, both written and verbal and high attention to detail is necessary for this role.

You must have full working rights in Australia and available to work 5 days per week between Monday to Friday across various shifts, including day, afternoon and night shift.

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Experience in a processing production environment
  • Physically fit and healthy
  • MUST have excellent numeracy and literacy
  • Ability to work on face paced production line
  • GMP and HACCP knowledge
  • Follow WHS and maintain safe work practices
  • License and reliable transport (Sites are not accessible via public transport)
  • PPE (Steel caps & high VIS shirt)
  • EPJ experience is beneficial but not necessary
  • Forklift license an advantage but not necessary

This is a very physically demanding position and repetitive lifting and manual handling will be the main part of your role.

This role offers onsite training, upskilling and temp to perm opportunities for the right candidate.
