The opportunity:
Labourpower are currently seeking a motivated and energetic Account Manager to join our team in Upper Mount Gravatt. We need someone to service our clients across the North, East and Bayside area, so it’s a great opportunity for a Account Manager who may not live close to our office, but is located close to our clients.
Ideally, the successful candidate would come from a blue collar recruitment environment. They would have developed the ability to build instant rapport with clients and would have fine-tuned their administration, HR/Safety and customer service skills or a willingness to learn.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage, service and grow your portfolio of accounts ensuring excellent customer service is provided at all times
- Conduct site visits and inductions as required
- Workforce rostering via our own custom designed technology
- Empower a safe workforce
- Attend to pay queries and payroll emails promptly
- Identify, cultivate and develop new clients and opportunities
- Conduct risk assessments for client sites and new clients using LP’s risk assessment procedure
- Conduct monthly job observations and toolbox talks for all designated clients
- **PLEASE NOTE – THERE WILL BE SOME EARLY MORNING INDUCTIONS
The knowledge, skills and abilities we’re looking for:
- Demonstrated experience in blue collar recruitment
- A proactive and energetic approach to your work

We are currently seeking Counter Balance, High Reach Forklift Drivers for a number of ongoing roles.
Labourpower is a National Australian Recruitment company with a focus on providing highly skilled, diverse and reliable candidates to our varied clients across a range of diverse industries. You MUST have full working rights in Australia and available to work 38hrs per week.
We have roles for forklift operators including:
- Counter balance forklift
- High reach forklift
To be successful you will:
- Proven experience and confident forklift operating (in warehouse/production environment)
- Be available for an immediate start
- Be able to work unsupervised
- Previous warehouse experience
- Experience using EPF and RF Scanner
- Be able to work at a fast yet safe pace
- PPE (Steel caps & Hi-Vis shirt)
- Flexible to work over 3 different shifts (Day, Afternoon & Night)
- Own car and licence (preferred)
These roles are to be filled immediately and will vary across day, afternoon and night shift and may be rotating.
Physically demanding, repetitive lifting and manual handling will be part of your role.
