Quality Coordinator / Quality Officer

About the Role:

Day Shift: 6am – 2pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve the site Quality & Food Safety Management System (QMS / FSMS)
  • Drive compliance with certification standards, internal policies.
  • Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and work instructions
  • Monitor quality performance through data analysis, metrics, and reporting
  • Prepare and present quality compliance reports to site leadership and customers
  • Investigate non-conformances and lead corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)
  • Identify improvement opportunities to reduce customer complaints, waste, and plant costs
  • Provide guidance and support to a team of 3 Quality Control personnel across a 24/7 operation
  • Partner with production and operations teams to embed quality standards

About You:

  • Proven experience in a Quality Officer, Quality Coordinator or QA role within manufacturing
  • Strong working knowledge of Quality and Food Safety Management Systems
  • Experience with audits, certifications, and compliance reporting
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using quality KPIs and metrics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment

WH General hand / High Reach Role

About the Role:

Day Shift: 6am-2pm

Core Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in pick and pack, order processing, or warehouse operations
  • Competent using WMS systems (cloud-based preferred) and handheld scanners
  • Strong attention to detail with a track record of high accuracy in order fulfilment
  • Ability to follow pick slips, batch orders, and SOPs with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with goods receiving, dispatch preparation, and basic inventory control
  • Forklift licence with Reach Truck experience (Crown preferred)

Physical Requirements

  • Able to stand, walk, lift, and move throughout the shift
  • Comfortable handling repetitive manual tasks at a consistent pace
  • Capable of safely lifting up to 15-25 kg when required

Forklift Operators – Freight Forwading

Labourpower has partnered with one of Australia’s leading Freight and Logistics Companies. We currently have an opportunity for Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join our teams working across their Tullamarine Depot.

Your main responsibilities will include loading and unloading freight, sorting, palletising or stacking into cages as well as general duties around the depot. Experienced Counterbalance Forklift operators will be responsible for loading and unloading freight from vehicles which will consist of palletised & caged freight.

To be successful for the role you will require the following:

  • A valid Forklift Licence – with minimum 2 years forklift experience
  • Able to commit to Monday – Friday ongoing
  • An excellent attitude
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Previous experience in freight forwarding or loading/unloading in dock environments
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Physically fit; capable of bending and lifting consistently
  • Your own reliable transport
  • Own PPE: including steel capped boots
  • Good communication skills

On offer are multiple vacancies across PM shifts with generally a 6 hour shift duration starting from 4:30PM onwards.
