Employment Type: Casual ongoing work
Pay Rate: $37-$43 per hour (depending on shift)
About Us:
We are a growing plastics manufacturing company specialising in high-quality blow moulded products. With a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and innovation, we are looking for skilled Extrusion Machine Operators to join our production team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion and blow moulding machines
- Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and production efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Record production data and report any issues to supervisors
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets
- Operate forklifts safely for material handling and production support
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating extrusion machinery in a plastics environment
- Hands-on experience with blow moulding processes
- Valid LF (Forklift) licence (essential)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and production plans
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends if required

- Training will commence on day shift
- Positions available:
- 1 x Day Shift
- 1 x Afternoon Shift

Digital Print Operator – Full Time Permanent Role Truganina, VIC $41.68 Per Hour Day Shift | Full-Time Permanent
Labourpower is seeking an experienced Digital Print Operator for a full-time permanent position in Truganina. This role involves operating and maintaining a high-tech industrial digital printing press in a modern production environment.
We are looking for candidates with strong hands-on experience operating digital printing presses (industrial or commercial). Experience with offset printing or similar high-volume print equipment is also highly regarded. While the role is based in an industrial manufacturing setting, the core focus is on digital print quality, press operation, and consistent output.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor industrial digital printing presses during production runs
- Load substrates, inks, and consumables according to job specifications
- Monitor and maintain print quality, colour consistency, registration, and alignment
- Make real-time adjustments using the press control interface and software
- Complete accurate daily production reports (output, waste, downtime, run times)
- Perform scheduled cleaning, maintenance routines, and press checklists
- Identify and troubleshoot print or machine issues, escalating where required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
About You
- Proven experience operating industrial or commercial digital printing presses (essential)
- Strong understanding of print quality standards, colour management, and registration
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with touchscreen controls and press software
- High attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or in a team
- Ability to follow structured procedures and maintenance schedules
Desirable
- Background in packaging, labels, wide-format, or industrial printing environments
- Offset printing experience
- Forklift licence (advantageous)
