Location: Prestons
Position: LO Forklift Operator / Warehouse Operator
Hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm
Roster: Monday to Friday – Ongoing
Pay Rate: $36 per hour
THE ROLE
You will be working in a busy furniture warehouse environment, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of furniture and household items throughout the warehouse.
Duties will include:
- Operating LO forklift/order picker
- Picking and moving furniture and household products
- RF scanning and warehouse inventory movements
- Loading and unloading stock
- Manual handling and repetitive lifting
- Moving stock to designated warehouse locations
- General warehouse duties and housekeeping
- Safely handling items weighing up to 25kg
- Working as part of a team to meet daily warehouse targets
TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU MUST:
- Hold a current LO Forklift Licence
- Have RF scanning experience
- Be physically fit and comfortable with repetitive heavy lifting
- Be capable of lifting up to 25kg
- Have your own reliable vehicle and current driver’s licence
- Be available Monday to Friday
- Have full working rights in Australia
- Have a strong commitment to safety and workplace procedures
- Be reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work

About the Role: We are looking for skilled Highreach and/or Counter Balance Forklift Drivers to work in a dynamic warehouse environments. You will operate forklifts, perform manual handling, picking, RF scanning, voice picking, and other warehouse duties. The role requires working in a fast-paced yet safety-focused setting.
To be successful, you must:

Hold a valid LF forklift ticket

Have proven experience and confidence operating forklifts (1 year exp required)

Possess warehouse experience, including manual handling, picking, RF scanning, and voice picking

Be able to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritising safety

Be available for day shifts ( Monday to Friday)

Be physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks as required

Key Responsibilities

Recruit and manage temporary, contract, and permanent blue-collar staff

Build strong client relationships and provide responsive service

Coordinate rosters, fill bookings, and manage daily workforce requirements

Maintain compliance, documentation, and WHS standards

Work closely with the operations team to deliver results under pressure
What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in blue-collar or high-volume recruitment (agency preferred but not essential)
