We are currently looking for experienced Counterbalance, High Reach and LO Forklift Drivers for immediate start for ongoing roles based across the Eastern Suburbs of Brisbane.

To be considered, you must have full working rights, reside in Australia and be available to work 38 hours per week.

About the role

  • Confident forklift operating experience in a warehouse or production environment
  • Current experience operating Counterbalance, High Reach or LO forklifts
  • Knowledge of RF scanning
  • Ability to work safely at a fast pace
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Physically fit for repetitive lifting and manual handling
  • Your own PPE, including steel cap boots and a hi-vis shirt
  • Flexibility to work day, afternoon ,night shifts.
  • Own car and licence preferred

Service Centre Administrator

  • Murarrie location
  • $37.13 per hour inclusive of casual loading
  • Casual placement, hours can fluctuate week to week
  • Monday to Friday operation – shift times are 8.00am-4.30pm
  • Easy access and on site parking available
  • Prior experience in a service centre or customer service valuable

We are currently seeking an experienced Service Centre Administrator (Power tools) to support the operational needs of a large tool manufacturer.

The successful candidate must have prior experience in a similar fast paced environment and a working knowledge of product servicing and customer support. You will need to effectively apply these skills and demonstrate a firm understanding of process and procedure with warranty and damage claims.

Primary Roles and Responsibility

  • Prompt contact and communication to customers of the FSC regarding repair status.
  • Ensure prompt service for counter inquiries and/ or repairs.
  • Direct incoming calls to appropriate staff when necessary.
  • Coordinating completion of RA’s with accounts & warehouse
  • Processing of all battery/ charger/ torch claims.
  • Basic tool repairs after all other duties are completed.
  • Advising Service Centre Supervisor of potential stock issues and shortages
  • WHS responsibilities can include maintaining a safe system of work in the workplace including correct lifting methods.
  • Complying fully with the Makita (Australia) Occupational Health & Safety Policy Statement.
  • Obeying all relevant safety, health, and environment legislation
  • Duties may be varied from time to time consistent with the employee’s training and skills and such varied duties are to be performed to standards which will be specified as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience gained from working in a similar environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with an ability to empathise and prioritise customer needs.
  • Organisational ability coupled with exceptional communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
