Waste Drivers

You’ll be responsible for the collection, transportation, and safe disposal of waste and recycling materials from residential, commercial, or industrial sites – ensuring all work is carried out efficiently and in line with environmental regulations.

These positions will be Monday – Friday 8-10hour days starting between the hours of 3-530am.

Responsibilities

Drive and operate waste collection vehicles Rear and Side load trucks safely and efficiently.
Collect and transport waste and recyclables from designated routes or customer sites.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.
Comply with all health, safety, and environmental policies.
Work collaboratively with loaders, supervisors, and other team members.
Deliver excellent customer service at all times.

Requirements

A valid HR Heavy Rigid Licence
Good knowledge of local routes and road safety regulations.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
Previous experience in waste collection, recycling, or logistics is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided.
Applicants will need to provide a current RTA driver history printout
Applicants will need to complete a criminal history check
