STOREMAN FORKLIFT OPERATOR – HORNSBY LOCATION

Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm Rate: $36

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced High Reach Forklift Operator to join a busy distribution centre based in Hornsby. This role requires a reliable, safety-focused operator who can handle high-reach tasks efficiently and contribute to smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate high-reach forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve pallets within racking systems.
Load and unload goods from trucks, trailers, or containers, ensuring accurate placement and stacking.
Pick and stage products accurately based on order sheets, production schedules, or dispatch requirements.
Perform pre- and post-shift equipment checks, reporting any faults or safety concerns immediately.
Maintain a clean, organised warehouse: accurate inventory, clear aisles, and strong adherence to housekeeping standards.
Follow all health & safety policies, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with dispatch, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
Support cycle counts, stock rotation, and replenishment tasks as required.
Flexibility to assist with overtime, weekend loads, or special dispatch runs when needed.

Requirements

Valid Australian forklift licence and proven experience operating high-reach forklifts in a warehouse/distribution environment.
Previous experience in a fast-paced logistics or warehouse setting.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when picking, stacking, and storing stock.
Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties.
Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Must have own reliable transport.
