National Pallet Controller
Flexible Hours – Monday to Friday (with WFH Options)
The Company
My client is a global manufacturing business based in Eastern Creek. We are currently seeking a National Pallet Controller to join the team on a full-time basis. The role will support the Inventory & Planning team, collaborating internally across supply chain, accounts, customer service, and operations. The role is Monday to Friday with flexible hours and WFH availability.
Duties and Responsibilities
Pallet Control and Reconciliation:
- Maintain accurate returnable asset balances across customer and other third-party accounts.
- Investigate, reconcile and resolve asset discrepancies, transfer issues, delayed returns and account exceptions in a timely manner.
- Coordinate regular customer stocktakes, cycle counts and account validations to ensure system accuracy and asset visibility.
- Report on asset movements, de-hires, recoveries and transfers to reduce losses and improve control.
- Ensure asset records, reports and supporting documentation are accurate, current and audit-ready.
Customer and Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a key contact for customers and internal stakeholders on asset balances, account queries, transfer issues and reconciliation matters.
- Work collaboratively with operations, customer service and finance teams to resolve account issues and improve asset turnaround.
- Identify process improvement opportunities that strengthen asset control and reduce loss.
Billing and Invoicing:
- Calculating invoice amounts and processing in SAP.
- Ensuring timely resolution on customer enquiries regarding invoicing.
Your Experience
- Strong experience in pallet/inventory/asset control (essential), including SAP/CHEP/LOSCAM management
- Experience with documentation control (PODs, manifests, consignment notes)
- Understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), safety, and quality compliance
- Preferred knowledge of 2IC systems
- Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and manage competing priorities
- A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement
