Counterbalance Forklift Operator – Bin Wash (Day & Night Shift)

About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operators to join our bin wash operations team in Erskine Park. This is a hands-on role that combines forklift operation, automated machinery use, and manual labour.

You will be responsible for operating bin washing equipment, performing high-pressure washing, and ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely. Accurate data recording using scanners and reporting tools is a key part of this role.

This position also requires a practical, problem-solving mindset. If machinery breaks down, you will be expected to assist with troubleshooting or revert to manual washing methods to maintain workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently
• Use automated bin washing machinery
• Perform manual washing using high-pressure hoses and tools
• Accurately record production and operational data
• Troubleshoot machinery issues and assist with minor repairs
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Skills & Requirements

• Valid Forklift Licence (Counterbalance) – essential
• Ability and willingness to perform manual labour
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using scanners and digital reporting tools
• Reliable transport (site not accessible via public transport)
• Ability to work day or night shift as required
