The Opportunity

Labourpower is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Account Manager to join our Altona team.

Managing a portfolio of clients across Melbourne, you’ll be responsible for building strong relationships, supporting workforce requirements and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out on the road, solving problems and taking ownership of client outcomes.

Experience within blue-collar recruitment is highly regarded; however, candidates with strong account management or workforce management experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, service and grow an existing portfolio of clients
• Build strong client relationships and deliver outstanding customer service
• Conduct client visits, site inspections and workforce inductions
• Coordinate workforce rostering using our custom technology platform
• Attend to payroll enquiries and employee concerns
• Identify opportunities for account growth and new business development
• Conduct risk assessments, workplace observations and toolbox talks
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance requirements are met

Please note: This role requires flexibility, including occasional early morning starts for workforce inductions.

About You

• Previous experience in blue-collar recruitment, account management or workforce management
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Highly organised with excellent time management
• Solutions-focused with a proactive approach
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of compliance and workplace safety
• Experience using FastTrack360 highly regarded
• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle essential
