Reporting to the Director of Sales, your remit will be to present one face to the customer, and represent the full range of products and solutions. Your priority being to offer integrated solutions, insuring a high degree of customer retention and significant growth potential. You will target customers across our key verticals such as Retail, FMCG, Healthcare, Technology, and Automotive. Key functions of the role include:
- Business Development – Monitor and engage with the market to understand trends and local country business strategies
- Financial Management – Ensure profitability and the achievement of sales plan to budget
- Management Information – Gather, consolidate, analyse and report on area level related to sales performance
- Process Management – Maintain live and accurate portfolio with account potential sufficient to generate the target pipeline
- Organisational Culture – Create a positive work culture to ensure the commitment of both the staff to the company
- Leadership – Steer, develop and motivate internal resources for individual and company objectives
- Relationship Management – Cooperate with managers in other parts of the Group outside the country

What you will bring to the role:
- University Degree or industry related qualifications (preferred but not essential)
- Minimum 5 years experience with documented sales record
- Sales experience and working knowledge of the international transportation and logistics industry
- Familiarity with the financial aspects of the relevant local economy as well as international market conditions and trends (including market rates), and international business issues, including currency factors and cultural differences
- Good technology skills, familiarity with Microsoft office etc
- Presentation techniques, comfortable with meeting and presenting for groups 5+ people

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven Branch Manager to join a dynamic and market leading Global Freight Forwarding & Logistics Solutions Provider.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be experienced in customs clearance and/or freight forwarding methods and practices. This includes accounting methods and practices, Customs Law, sales and commercial negotiation techniques, and fulfilling customer requirements. You will run a cost-effective environment and operate in accordance with the company policy, mission, vision and standards. Key functions of the role include:
- Ensure the smooth and efficient flow of custom clearance transactions through the business units
- Make sure all aspects of the customers special instructions and / or SOPs are fulfilled
- Provide guidance, motivation and support to all staff within the business unit.
- Delegate duties to the business unit members, ensuring adequate follow up procedures are met
- Ensure that any opportunities for new business or extension are acted upon
- Dispute and issues resolution relating to service
- Establish a client visitation program for all business unit accounts
- Demonstrate strong awareness and understanding of financial management and cost controls
- Produce a monthly report to be discussed at monthly management meetings
What you will bring to the role:
- University Degree or industry related qualifications (preferred but not essential)
- Minimum 5 years experience with Branch Management or Leadership role
- Quarantine Accreditation or similar experience.
- Experience with CargoWise preferred
- Knowledge of Customs clearance procedures
- Good technology skills, familiarity with Microsoft office etc
- Ability to Manage, Motivate & Develop Individuals

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Vendor Management Officer to support the daily operational needs of a large transport company in Mascot. The successful candidate must have prior experience in a similar fast paced environment and strong vendor experience. You will need to effectively apply these skills and demonstrate a firm understanding of vendor management functions. This is an exciting opportunity for any administration professional to develop skills in a supportive and proactive environment.
Primary Roles and Responsibility
- Creating and processing Contracts
- Answering Contract queries
- Compliance – chasing and updating expired policies and other relevant documentation
- Vendor On boarding
- Calling vendors
- Document storage on SharePoint
- Collection of COR (Chain of Responsibility) documentation
- Updating data bases in SharePoint and Microsoft Access
- Liaising with internal stakeholders
To be successful you will need to demonstrate:
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Access is a bonus
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Administrative support experience
- Be a proactive team member with a dynamic and committed work ethic
