Labourpower are seeking experienced HC drivers for regional and some interstate collection and baling of plastic oil drums starting from our client’s depot based in Laverton North.
We are currently seeking drivers for collections in regional Victoria with some interstate work in SA. You will be required to conduct on-site baling including the use of a CV crane to move completed bales.
This role will require you to be Living Away from Home Monday – Friday.
Successful candidates will have:
- Be available Monday – Friday working away from home
- Hold a current HC licence
- Hold a current LF licence
- Previous Front End Loader experience highly desirable
- Have a minimum 2 years driving experience
- Have good time management & customer service skills
Successful candidates are required to:
- Complete and pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screening)
- Be able to provide a current Vic roads Driver History Report
- Complete Police Checks

Pay Rate: $36-$41 per hour (depending on shift)
About Us:
We are a growing plastics manufacturing company. We are looking for reliable Machine Minders to support our production team and help keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load bags of plastic materials onto machines for processing and cleaning
- Assist with separating waste materials and recyclables
- Monitor machines during production to ensure smooth operation
- Identify and report any faults or issues to supervisors
- Perform basic adjustments and assist operators where required
- Check finished products for quality and remove any defects
- Keep work areas clean and organised
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Assist with material handling, including forklift use
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred)
- Valid LF (Forklift) licence (essential)
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team
- Basic mechanical understanding (advantageous)
- Willingness to work shifts, including afternoons and overtime if required
Training:
- Full onsite training provided and must be completed before working independently
- Training will commence on day shift

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion and blow moulding machines
- Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and production efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Record production data and report any issues to supervisors
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets
- Operate forklifts safely for material handling and production support
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating extrusion machinery in a plastics environment
- Hands-on experience with blow moulding processes

- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and production plans
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends if required
