The Role
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain will be required to oversee:
- Warehouse Operations of over 50,000 SKUs
- Logistics & Distribution servicing the greater Victorian network
- Governance, Compliance & Reporting
- Leadership & Direction
- Interactions with the employee union
- Review current work practices and review operating costs.
- Proactively identify and escalate opportunities to improve the inbound operations.
- Quickly escalate any issues that may impact operations.
- Identify and drive process improvement opportunities across the receiving and put-away operations using established methodologies.
- Recommend and implement initiatives to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and cut costs by simplifying processes.
- Facilitate change management projects from concept through to successful delivery.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by collaborating with and coaching key stakeholders.
Your Experience
- 5+ years in managing a large warehouse operations
- Managing and leading teams of 20+ across different functions
- Pragmatic with good people skills with excellent communication
- Proficient in managing workloads and time
- Proficiency with ERP systems
- Commercial nous

- Minimum 12 months recent forklift operating experience
